At Epiginosko Press, we believe a person's circumstances may limit where they can go—but they do not limit where the Gospel can reach.
That conviction is at the heart of our prison outreach.
The message behind Have We Met? and the A Walk With Him Series is centered on a question that reaches far beyond religion: Do we simply know about Jesus, or are we truly known by Him?
That question matters everywhere. Behind prison walls, it can carry an especially profound weight.
Our desire is to place Christ-centered books into the hands of incarcerated men and women who may be searching for hope, wrestling with their past, questioning their future, or simply longing to know whether their life can still have meaning and purpose.
We believe it can.
The Gospel Doesn't Stop at the Prison Gate
A prison sentence can restrict someone's freedom. It cannot place the Gospel out of reach.
Throughout Scripture, we see God meeting people in places of confinement, isolation, failure, consequence, and uncertainty. Walls and locked doors have never prevented Him from reaching a human heart.
That is why prison outreach has become an important part of the mission behind Epiginosko Press.
We want incarcerated readers to encounter more than Christian information. We want to challenge them to pursue an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ—to move beyond simply knowing about Him and toward genuinely knowing Him and being known by Him.
A book may seem like a small thing.
But in the right hands, at the right moment, a book can become the beginning of a conversation with God.
What This Ministry Looks Like
Our prison outreach is intentionally simple: get Christ-centered material into places where it can make an eternal difference.
Through Epiginosko Press, we seek opportunities to place books in correctional facilities and into the hands of incarcerated readers who otherwise may never encounter them.
These aren't books sent merely to fill a shelf.
They are written to challenge the reader.
To make someone think.
To confront comfortable religion.
To encourage honest questions.
And ultimately, to point people toward a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our hope isn't simply that someone finishes one of our books.
Our hope is that somewhere between the first page and the last, they encounter Him.
A Person Is More Than Their Worst Decision
Prison has a way of reducing a human life to numbers, charges, sentences, and release dates.
We believe the Gospel tells a bigger story.
Accountability matters. Consequences are real. But neither eliminates a person's need for—or access to—the grace, truth, forgiveness, and transforming power of Jesus Christ.
There are men and women behind bars who are asking questions about God that they may never have seriously considered before.
There are people confronting what they have done.
People wondering whether forgiveness is possible.
People wondering whether God could possibly want anything to do with them.
And people who have spent years knowing about Jesus without ever truly knowing Him.
Those are exactly the kinds of questions Epiginosko Press was created to address.
Why Books?
Because books go places we sometimes cannot.
A book can sit beside someone during the quietest hours of the night. It can be reread when questions arise. It can be passed from one person to another. A single copy can potentially reach far beyond the person who originally received it.
Most importantly, a book gives someone space to wrestle privately and honestly with what they believe.
We don't believe our books change people.
Jesus does.
Our books simply create another opportunity to introduce someone to Him.
